A vibrant and aromatic dish that brings the enchanting flavors of Vietnamese cuisine to your dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro and mint for garnish
  • Jasmine rice or fresh salad for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with minced lemongrass, garlic, and soy sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side until fully cooked through.
  4. Add sliced bell peppers and onions in the last couple of minutes, stir-frying until tender.
  5. Serve with jasmine rice or salad, garnished with herbs.

Notes

Allow the chicken to rest after cooking for juiciness. Adjust seasoning with lime for brightness.
