A refreshing salad that combines crisp cucumbers, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil, perfect for a light lunch or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the cucumbers into thick rounds.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into similar-sized pieces.
  3. Arrange the cucumber and mozzarella on a platter, alternating between the two.
  4. Tuck in fresh basil leaves between layers.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
