Indulgent, fluffy cinnamon rolls with a buttery filling and creamy frosting, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 ounces cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk with yeast and sugar; let sit until foamy.
  2. Add flour, butter, and eggs to the yeast mixture; stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth, then let rise until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, then sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar filling.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
  6. Let the rolls rise again until doubled, then bake until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the icing over warm cinnamon rolls and serve.
