Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or choice)
  • Extra melted butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm water and melted butter, and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. Shape the dough into rolls and place on a baking tray.
  6. Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
